Identify the Mystery Plant: Solved!

We have a mystery plant.

Be the first to identify this plant correctly and win a 1 gallon* plant at Western Hills Nursery.

This plant is in the garden at Western Hills Nursery and we do not know what it is. It is currently blooming with green cup shaped flowers on stalks that resemble Angelica. As far as we can tell it is not a Hellebore or Euphorbia. The foliage grows about 2 feet tall, the blooms extending past that. This specimen is about 4 feet in diameter.

Mystery Plant Identified!
Ed Bowen of Opus in Little Compton, RI has identified our plant as Mathiasella bupleurioides. Are we all agreed? Now how about tips on propagation. Thanks Ed!

Volunteers Wanted!

Since our reopening, many visitors have expressed an interest in volunteering their time.

Western Hills is now seeking volunteers to help revitalize the nursery and the established 3-acre garden outside Occidental, CA. While changing hands, Western Hills was closed for 2 years and needs extra maintenance to restore the garden to its full splendor. Volunteers will be given private tours of the property and our sincere gratitude.

If you're interested in becoming part of the ongoing Western Hills legacy, please contact Robert at Robert@WesternHillsNursery.com or by phone at 707-874-3731.

Thanks!
